Chia seeds are an excellent source of omega-3 fatty acids, which help to raise HDL cholesterol. HDL is the "good" cholesterol that protects against heart attack and stroke. Chia seeds are also rich in antioxidants, and they provide fiber, iron, and calcium. (1)
We made this delicious pudding with our Superfood Cacao Mix rich in immune, stress and hormone support ingredients.
Easy to put together, not cooking required and a pleasure to eat.
1 C. milk of choice (I love cashew milk)
1 1/2 Tbsp Superfood Cacao Mix or one single serve packet
1 Tbsp your favorite protein (I used collagen)
2 Tbsp hemp seeds (optional, but boost protein content)
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 drops stevia or any sweetener of choice
1/4 C. shredded coconut
1/4 C. chia seeds
Add all ingredients to a glass jar, shake well to be sure the chia seeds are well distributed.
Leave on your counter or refrigerator for at least one hour or overnight.
Top with your favorite toppings, we used local blueberries YUMMY.
